Kitab\u0131n b\u00f6l\u00fcmleri, ilki 2015 y\u0131l\u0131nda Sakarya\u2019da, ikincisi 2018\u2019de Tiran\u2019da, \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fcs\u00fc ise 7\u20139 Eyl\u00fcl 2022 tarihlerinde \u0130stanbul Medeniyet \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen III. Uluslararas\u0131 Osmanl\u0131 Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar\u0131 Kongresi\u2019ne (OSARK) sunulan tebli\u011fler temel al\u0131narak, bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015ftay kapsam\u0131nda haz\u0131rlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 1718\u20131730 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131ndaki d\u00f6nemin k\u00fclt\u00fcrel, siyasi ve toplumsal boyutlar\u0131n\u0131 ele alan makalelerden olu\u015fan bu derleme, Ahmed Refik ve onu izleyen tarih\u00e7ilerin s\u00f6z konusu d\u00f6nemi bir \u201cedeb\u00ee d\u00f6nem icad\u0131\u201d olarak kurgulad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 ortaya koymay\u0131 ama\u00e7l\u0131yor. Eser, lalenin simgesel g\u00f6lgesinde kalan bu zaman dilimini yeni ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda yeniden tan\u0131mlamay\u0131 ve anlamland\u0131rmay\u0131 hedefliyor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>VBKY\u2019nin tarih kitapl\u0131\u011f\u0131, Selim Karahasano\u011flu\u2019nun edit\u00f6rl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc \u00fcstlendi\u011fi\u00a0<em>\u201cLale Devri mi?\u201d<\/em>\u00a0adl\u0131 eserle geni\u015flemeye devam ediyor. Ahmed Refik\u2019in\u00a0<em>Lale Devri<\/em>\u00a0kitab\u0131, modern Osmanl\u0131 tarih\u00e7ili\u011finde \u00e7ok say\u0131da \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n ve tart\u0131\u015fman\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcn\u00fc a\u00e7m\u0131\u015f; s\u00f6z konusu d\u00f6nem kimi zaman Osmanl\u0131\u2019da bat\u0131l\u0131la\u015fman\u0131n ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131, kimi zamansa III. Ahmed ile damad\u0131 Nev\u015fehirli \u0130brahim Pa\u015fa\u2019n\u0131n zevk ve sefahate dayal\u0131, hatal\u0131 ve hedonist tasarruflar\u0131n\u0131n bir anlat\u0131s\u0131 olarak yorumlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Peki \u201cLale Devri\u201d ger\u00e7ekten ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015f bir d\u00f6nem midir? Bir\u00e7ok revizyonist \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya da konu olan bu adland\u0131rma, Osmanl\u0131 tarih yaz\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n en k\u00f6kl\u00fc kli\u015felerinden biri olarak varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrmektedir. Erken bat\u0131l\u0131la\u015fma ile sefahat aras\u0131nda sal\u0131nan bu d\u00f6nemin yaln\u0131zca nas\u0131l tan\u0131mland\u0131\u011f\u0131 de\u011fil, bizatihi var olup olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 da tarihsel bir sorun olarak ele al\u0131nmal\u0131d\u0131r. 1718\u20131730 y\u0131llar\u0131n\u0131n k\u00fclt\u00fcrel, siyasi ve toplumsal ve\u00e7helerini inceleyen makalelerden olu\u015fan bu kapsaml\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma, Ahmed Refik ve onu izleyen tarih\u00e7ilerin bir \u201cedeb\u00ee d\u00f6nem icad\u0131\u201d ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirdiklerini g\u00f6stermeyi; lalenin simgesel g\u00f6lgesinde kalan bir zaman\u0131, yeni ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar \u0131\u015f\u0131\u011f\u0131nda yeniden tan\u0131mlamay\u0131 ve anlamland\u0131rmay\u0131 ama\u00e7l\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p>Kitab\u0131n giri\u015f yaz\u0131s\u0131nda Selim Karahasano\u011flu, \u201cLale Devri\u201d adland\u0131rmas\u0131n\u0131 problematize ederken doktora tezinden g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze uzanan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 \u00fczerinden d\u00f6neme ili\u015fkin historiografik d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fc de\u011ferlendiriyor. T\u00fclay Artan, d\u00f6nemin entelekt\u00fcel \u00e7evrelerini, kitap koleksiyonlar\u0131n\u0131 ve zihniyet d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131, \u201cLale Devri\u201d anlat\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n merkez\u00ee fig\u00fcrlerinden Paris sefiri Yirmisekiz Mehmed \u00c7elebi\u2019nin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce d\u00fcnyas\u0131 \u00fczerinden inceliyor. Mehmet Y\u0131lmaz Akbulut ise s\u00f6z konusu y\u0131llar\u0131 asker\u00ee ve diplomatik a\u00e7\u0131dan bir \u201czevk ve sefahat \u00e7a\u011f\u0131\u201d olarak de\u011fil, Avrupa\u2019daki g\u00fc\u00e7 dengelerine duyarl\u0131 bir diplomatik k\u0131r\u0131lma noktas\u0131 olarak yeniden konumland\u0131r\u0131yor. Tu\u011fba Kara\u2019n\u0131n, d\u00f6nemin sembol\u00fc h\u00e2line gelmi\u015f bostanlar\u0131 birincil kaynaklara dayanarak ele alan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131 ile \u015eaduman Tuncer\u2019in padi\u015fah\u0131n mesireler ve kas\u0131rlar aras\u0131ndaki hareketlili\u011fini inceleyen makalesi, saray \u00e7evresindeki g\u00fcndelik hayat\u0131 abart\u0131l\u0131 anlat\u0131lardan ar\u0131nd\u0131rarak somutla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131yor. Ahlaki bir \u00e7\u00f6k\u00fc\u015f ya da yar\u0131m kalm\u0131\u015f bir bat\u0131l\u0131la\u015fma \u00e7er\u00e7evesinin yetersizli\u011fini ortaya koyan bu katk\u0131lar, ayn\u0131 zamanda Ahmed Refik\u2019in\u00a0<em>Lale Devri<\/em>\u00a0kitab\u0131n\u0131n yay\u0131mlanmas\u0131n\u0131n ard\u0131ndan kaleme ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 yaz\u0131lar\u0131 da ilk kez kapsaml\u0131 bi\u00e7imde g\u00fcn y\u00fcz\u00fcne \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131yor. Refik\u2019in birka\u00e7 y\u0131l i\u00e7inde kendi kurdu\u011fu anlat\u0131y\u0131 nas\u0131l yumu\u015fatt\u0131\u011f\u0131, hatta yer yer geri ald\u0131\u011f\u0131; Fatma Aliye ile girdi\u011fi polemikler ve \u0130brahim Pa\u015fa\u2019y\u0131 savunma giri\u015fimleri, bu metinlerde \u201cLale Devri\u201dnin ilk revizyonu olarak ele al\u0131n\u0131yor. \u00d6te yandan, T\u00fcrk\u00e7ede ilk kez okurla bulu\u015fan Wilhelm Heinz\u2019\u0131n 1967 tarihli makalesi de d\u00f6nemin k\u00fclt\u00fcr d\u00fcnyas\u0131n\u0131 pop\u00fcler anlat\u0131lar\u0131n \u00f6tesine ta\u015f\u0131yan \u00f6nemli bir katk\u0131 sunuyor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kitaptan:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cTarihin ak\u0131\u015f\u0131 i\u00e7erisinde bir kesiti al\u0131p \u00e7\u0131karmak, \u00f6ncesi ve sonras\u0131 i\u00e7erisinde konteks\u00adtine oturtmaks\u0131z\u0131n misli g\u00f6r\u00fclmemi\u015f gibi sunmak, Osmanl\u0131 tarih\u00e7ili\u011finde yabanc\u0131s\u0131 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z bir tarzd\u0131r. Osmanl\u0131 tarihi i\u00e7in \u00f6teden beri kurulu\u015f, y\u00fckselme, durakla\u00adma, gerileme ve \u00e7\u00f6k\u00fc\u015f yollu bir anlat\u0131m benimsenmi\u015ftir. G\u00f6rece yak\u0131n d\u00f6nemlerde\u00addir ki, bir kabuk k\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ba\u015flam\u0131\u015f ve Kanuni Sultan S\u00fcleyman d\u00f6nemi sonras\u0131nda da, \u0130mparatorlukta; k\u00fclt\u00fcrde, sanatta, siyasette, teknolojide, ekonomide canl\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fclebildi\u011fi kan\u0131tlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Denilebilir ki, Osmanl\u0131 tarih\u00e7ili\u011finin kli\u015felerinden s\u0131y\u00adr\u0131lmas\u0131 yeni say\u0131labilecek bir olgudur ve bu hususta bir genel kan\u0131 h\u00e2l\u00e2 olu\u015fmu\u015f de\u00ad\u011fildir. Bu bahsetti\u011fim \u00fcst kli\u015fenin i\u00e7erisinde en b\u00fcy\u00fck kli\u015felerden birisini de Lale Devri olu\u015fturur. Buna g\u00f6re, \u0130mparatorluk, zaten bir tefess\u00fch\/bozulma evresine gir\u00admi\u015ftir. Lale Devri de bu evrenin bir aya\u011f\u0131n\u0131 olu\u015fturur: Ahl\u00e2kta, ya\u015fay\u0131\u015fta ve siyasette bozulma. Zira, bu d\u00f6nem bir zevk ve sefahat d\u00f6nemidir. Son d\u00f6nemin padi\u015fahlar\u0131 da keyiflerine d\u00fc\u015fk\u00fcn \u015fah\u0131slard\u0131r. Bu ve benzeri standart anlat\u0131 \u00f6rnekleri \u00e7o\u011falt\u0131labilir.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Yukar\u0131da kabaca \u00f6zetledi\u011fim bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n, yani Osmanl\u0131 \u0130mparatorlu\u011fu tarihinin \u015fah\u0131s bazl\u0131 yorumunun ne kadar problem bar\u0131nd\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmelidir. \u015e\u00f6yle ki, bir \u0130mparatorluk tarihi, padi\u015fah\u0131n yahut onun karizmas\u0131n\u0131n g\u00fcc\u00fc ile a\u00e7\u0131klanmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Buna Osmanl\u0131 tarih\u00e7ili\u011finde elitist\/hanedan eksenli bir tarihyaz\u0131m gelene\u011finin yahut basit\u00e7e devleti ve toplumu ile ku\u015fat\u0131c\u0131 olmayan bir tarih\u00e7ilik anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131n sonucu olarak da bak\u0131labilir.
